Here is a little information about the photographer...
Guy Davis is a British-born Photographer living in the South East of England. Since graduating from his degree in Photography at the University of Kent, Davis has continued to be inspired by the wildlife of both home ground and the exciting varieties of abroad, most recently traveling to South Africa for a chance of capturing exotic animals on film. Davis has stated that his aim is to enable viewers to see the emotion of an animal through his bold statement portraits and to have each individual character or personality shining through. Having a strong passion for wildlife from a very young age he sites his personal favorite photograph as 'The King', saying that it was this chance encounter with a lion that gave him the fire to pursue further safari settings. Davis' photos have all the qualities of classical portraiture with what seems an effortless moment of stillness in natures world. When confronted with the chaos of mankind the simplicity of nature does not disappoint in these timeless works of art.
