Well, it's about time.  Getting these amazing photos online has somehow been on the back burner until NOW!  Please enjoy this peek at our amazing Mira Vista residential project here in Fort Worth.

This is not only a favorite project of mine, but also one of my favorite clients.  Her cool factor is off the charts and we had major success from the start regarding the design direction of her home.  Taking inspiration from California, Jonathan Adler, and Kelly Wearstler... we went for a style filled with an eclectic collection of color, graphics, and contrast.

DESIGN BY JMI | master bedroom renovation

This local project is going to be a great before & after... just imagine 1980's mirrored wall, mauve/mauve/mauve, and Asian ensemble furniture.  Before we spoil the unveiling with images, here is a sneak peek at the design selections for our latest renovation.

We have a client in McLean, Virginia that we absolutely LOVE to work with.  She is adventurous and balances a great combination of styles and eras in her home.  The most recent design was created for her two not-quite-teenage daughters' bedroom.  Oh what fun!

nursery design complete with BABY!

A few months ago, we had the pleasure of designing a nursery for one of our favorite clients in Fort Worth.  The parents-to-be requested a fun and colorful baby room that is both unexpected and unique.  Below is the design concept sheet... AND recent photos of sweet baby DRUE in her new bedroom!

nurseries galore!

We have been crazy busy designing baby nurseries for clients and now it is time for the MOST FUN PROJECT EVER.... my own baby nursery!  Thought I would share my very first purchase, as today my husband and I found out that we will be welcoming a baby boy this April.  Couldn't be MORE excited.  I have had my eyes on this Elizabeth Lucas Giraffe art for months and today treated Baby McIntyre to his first piece of nursery decor...

JMI is THRILLED to officially announce the latest & greatest.  Meet Charlie Price, our coolest client ever.  Not only has Charlie been a wonderful friend for years, he has the magic touch when it comes to fabulous hair.  It is only fitting for the HOTTEST Dallas go-to hair guy to move his salon to the HOTTEST real estate around... LOL.  If you are unfamiliar, check out my recent blog on Lower Oak Lawn (Design District).

Hair By Charlie will relocate from it's current McKinney Avenue spot to a space adjacent to The Meddlesome Moth.  Design in progress.  Grand opening est. November.... stay tuned for design concept images, updates on progress, and the GRAND OPENING PARTY!

JMI is excited to have a new client in BEAUTIFUL CHARLOTTE, NC!  We visited with this home-owner during our trip to High Point and have just started designing for their fabulous residence.  If you live outside the DFW area, don't hesitate to call!  Have designs, will travel.

the bachelor pad continues...

We have just completed designs for our Bachelor's smart, sleek and comfortable master bedroom.  The design concept was to keep with his contemporary aesthetic, but to warm it up a bit and add lots of texture.  Streamlined furniture, a neutral palette and an accent of blue (Benjamin Moore's "Bachelor Blue" to be exact) create a stylish retreat for our client.

super bowl super party!

Iced in again!  We bunkered down in our home office today and knocked out a quickie design for our newest client, a Dallas doctor (and bachelor!... ladies?).  He requested fast-paced living room designs in hopes of it being complete for his Super Bowl bash this Sunday!  JMI worked with a few of his existing contemporary pieces of furniture and created a new design that ties in comfort and color.
