We are thrilled to attend the Kappa Tablescapes 2010 Kick-Off party this evening. The event will be held at The Home Store at Stanley Korshak, where we are sure to see some inspiring home furnishings and accessories.

JMI is working with a new client on her darling just-purchased Dallas M-Street home. We have been on the hunt for certain "focal point" pieces of furniture and have discovered the perfect vendor. This incredible Philip Gorrivan Collection "Grey Gardens" fabric has haunted us ever since the day we met, and JMI is proud to have found it the perfect home... On a set of beautifully shaped vintage 1970's upholstered dining chairs from the marvellous Antiques Moderne. It is an ideal combination for our newest client, a dapper Dallas bachelor. The chairs are even on casters for the ultimate comfort in entertaining!

Sometimes you just need a quick-fix! Although ours usually involves some sort of frozen treat, JMI provides clients pressed for time a Design Quick-Fix. Below is a recent design package that was created for a young couple whose style can be summed up in three words: eclectic, coastal, relaxed.

We began with a brainstorming session, and then created a floor plan and master design plan for their new family room. JMI utilized some existing pieces, but mostly introduced new elements to the space. The result captured a fresh feel for this young family. Dimensions, vendors, and pricing information were also included in the package.

One week. Job (well) done.
